Italian Marble in Mysore – Direct From Kishangarh

Bhutra Marble supplies Italian marble in Mysore directly from our yard in Kishangarh, Rajasthan – the port of entry for almost every Italian marble slab that reaches India. Full slabs, 18-20 mm, from Rs. 250 per sq. ft. ex-Kishangarh, delivered crated and insured to Mysuru.

We have supplied and installed in Mysore before. The project videos below are ours.

Why Mysore Buyers Order Direct From Kishangarh

Here is something most Mysore buyers are not told: the Italian marble sitting in a Mysore showroom almost certainly came from Kishangarh. Mysore has no marble port and no import yard of its own. Local Italian marble dealers in Mysore buy in Kishangarh, truck it down, and resell it.

That extra hop costs you two things. The obvious one is margin. The less obvious one is choice – a Mysore showroom can only show you the lots its owner already committed to buying, which is a tiny fraction of what is actually available.

Buying direct from Bhutra Marble removes the hop. You pick from 650+ varieties in live stock instead of whatever is on the floor that week, and you pay the mandi rate plus transport instead of the mandi rate plus transport plus someone else’s margin. We have been an imported marble supplier in India since 1978.

How Mysore Buyers Select Slabs Without Travelling

You do not need to fly to Rajasthan to buy this way. Most of our South India buyers never do.

  1. 1Tell us the requirement – area, application, the look you are after, your budget band.
  2. 2We send slab-by-slab video of the matching lots, shot in natural light, with the slab number visible. Not catalogue renders – the actual slabs in our yard.
  3. 3You mark the exact slabs you want. For bookmatch pairs we show the pair opened out so you can see how the vein runs across the join.
  4. 4We reserve the lot while you confirm with your architect or client.
  5. 5Crated, insured dispatch to Mysore. Photographed before it leaves the yard.

Every slab we send out has been through MAS, our 8-step Marble Augmentation System. If you would rather see the yard in person, you are welcome – our Kishangarh showroom is open through the week and we will have your shortlist pulled out before you arrive.

Italian Marble Price in Mysore

Prices below are ex-Kishangarh, which is how the trade quotes. Transport to Mysore and GST are added on top, and we quote that openly rather than hiding it inside an inflated per-sq-ft number. For rates across other cities, see our Italian marble price in India guide.

Variety Origin Rs. / sq. ft.
Botticino Italy 250 – 400
Crema Marfil Spain 300 – 550
Volakas White Greece 350 – 650
Dover White Turkey 400 – 750
Armani Grey Turkey 450 – 900
Carrara White Italy 500 – 1,100

Delivery Across Mysore and South Karnataka

We deliver imported marble in Mysore to every part of Mysuru – Vijayanagar, Kuvempunagar, Jayalakshmipuram, Bannimantap, Nazarbad, Devaraja Mohalla, Siddarthanagar, Hebbal Industrial Area and the Ring Road belt – and to the surrounding towns: Mandya, Hassan, Nanjangud, Srirangapatna, Chamarajanagar and Madikeri.

Slabs travel crated and insured. Every consignment is photographed before dispatch, so what you approved on video is what arrives. We supply across the state – if your project is closer to the city, see Italian marble in Bengaluru.

Popular Italian Marble Varieties for Mysore Homes

White Italian Marble

Statuario, Carrara, Michelangelo, Volakas, Dover White. The most requested category. Statuario and Michelangelo carry the boldest veining and suit feature walls, temple areas and low-traffic living room floors. For a large floor that will take daily use, Volakas and Dover White hold up better. See the full imported white marble range.

Beige Italian Marble

Botticino, Crema Marfil, Sahara Beige. Warm, forgiving and practical – these hide traffic marks far better than bright white and are the sensible choice for a full-house floor.

Grey Italian Marble

Armani Grey, Pietra Grey, Fendi Grey. Strong fit for contemporary Mysore villas, staircase cladding and bathroom walls.

Exotic and Onyx

Backlit onyx, blue agate, semi-precious panels. Made to order for reception counters, bar backs and statement walls. Browse the wider marble collection.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the price of Italian marble in Mysore?

Italian marble starts at Rs. 250 per sq. ft. ex-Kishangarh for Botticino and entry-grade beige, and runs past Rs. 3,500 per sq. ft. for premium Statuario. Transport to Mysore and GST are added on top. A Mysore showroom buying the same slab from Kishangarh will typically quote higher, because their landed cost plus margin is built into their per-sq-ft rate.

Which city is famous for Italian marble in India?

Kishangarh, in Rajasthan, is where Italian and imported marble enters the Indian market. It is Asia’s largest marble mandi, and the slabs sold in Mysore, Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai showrooms have almost all passed through it. Bhutra Marble has operated there since 1978. Read more about Italian marble in India.

How much Italian marble is required for a 1000 sq ft house?

For flooring alone, plan for roughly 1,100 to 1,150 sq. ft. of slab against 1,000 sq. ft. of floor – the extra 10 to 15 percent covers cutting waste, edge losses and skirting. If you are also cladding walls, a staircase or vanity tops, those are measured separately. Send us your floor plan and we will work out the slab requirement for you.

Which is better for a Mysore home, Indian or Italian marble?

They are different tools. Italian marble has finer crystal structure, more dramatic veining and holds a deeper polish – it is the choice when the floor is meant to be noticed. Indian marble is harder and more forgiving, which makes it the safer pick for heavy-traffic utility areas. Mysore’s climate is mild and not a factor either way. Bhutra Marble deals only in imported stone, so we will tell you honestly if your application is better served by Indian marble.

How can I check Italian marble quality before buying?

Four checks. Hold the slab against light at an angle – genuine Italian marble shows depth in the crystal, not a flat printed look. Check the back of the slab; the veining should continue through, not sit only on the surface. Look along the edge for the resin and fibreglass backing that quality slabs carry. And ask for the lot number and origin – any genuine importer can tell you which quarry and which container a slab came from.

Why is Italian marble expensive?

Three reasons stack up. The quarries themselves are limited – Carrara and the Apuan Alps produce a finite amount each year. The stone is then shipped as heavy blocks, cut and processed, which adds cost at every step. And import duty plus inland freight to India is significant. Buying from Kishangarh rather than a reseller removes one of the markups in that chain, which is the only part a buyer can actually control.

Which is the best Italian marble in Mysore for flooring?

For a full-house floor that will be lived on, the beiges – Botticino and Crema Marfil – are the most practical: they are harder than the premium whites and hide wear. Among the whites, Volakas and Dover White are more durable choices than Statuario. Statuario and Calacatta are better used where they will be seen but not walked on constantly – feature walls, temple areas, bathroom cladding.

Do you deliver Italian marble to Mysore?

Yes. We dispatch crated and insured to Mysuru and across south Karnataka including Mandya, Hassan, Nanjangud and Madikeri. You select your slabs by video, approve the exact lot, and we photograph the consignment before it leaves the yard.

Can I see the slabs before I commit?

Yes, two ways. We send slab-by-slab video of the actual lots in natural light with slab numbers visible, so you can shortlist and approve remotely. Or you can visit our Kishangarh showroom and inspect full slabs in person – tell us before you travel and we will have your shortlist ready. You can also read what our buyers say in client reviews.

Planning a project in Mysore?

Send us the area and the look you want. We will share slab videos of the matching lots and a delivered-to-Mysore price the same day.
