Refund & Returns Policy

Clear Guidelines for Returns, Refunds & Product Acceptance

At Bhutra Marble, we deal in natural marble and stone products. Because natural stone varies in colour, veining, texture, shade, and pattern, each slab is unique. These natural variations are part of the material and are not considered defects.

1. Return eligibility

Returns or replacement requests are accepted only in the following cases:

  • the product delivered is different from the confirmed order
  • the product is received with visible breakage or damage caused during transportation
  • the product has a major visible defect at the time of delivery

2. Return request window

Any eligible return or replacement request must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
Customers must share:

  • order details or invoice
  • clear photos and videos of the issue
  • delivery and packaging images, where applicable

Requests raised after 24 hours of delivery will not be accepted.

3. Non-returnable items / cases

Returns, refunds, or exchanges are not accepted for:

  • natural variation in colour, veining, texture, shade, or pattern
  • minor differences between website images and actual slabs
  • damage after unloading, handling, storage, cutting, polishing, fabrication, or installation
  • custom-sized, cut-to-order, processed, or specially reserved material
  • change of mind after order confirmation, slab approval, booking, or dispatch

4. Inspection on delivery

Customers must inspect the material at the time of delivery and before unloading or further handling, wherever possible. Once the material is accepted at delivery, it will be treated as received in acceptable condition, except where hidden transit damage is reported within the 24-hour claim window with proof.

5. Return method

Approved cases will be handled by one of the following methods, at Bhutra Marble’s sole discretion:

  • replacement with the correct or similar available material
  • exchange / value adjustment against another purchase
  • refund, if replacement is not possible

6. Return cost

If the return is approved due to wrong product delivery or verified transit damage, return pickup or return transport will be arranged or approved by Bhutra Marble.
Original transportation, loading, unloading, crane, labour, handling, and installation-related charges are non-refundable unless otherwise confirmed in writing.

7. Refund timeline

If a refund is approved, it will be processed to the original payment method within 7 to 10 working days after claim approval.

8. No-return / limited-return nature of natural stone

Natural stone is a premium and variable material. By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and accepts natural variations and agrees to this Refund & Returns Policy.
